Hi, there, Dear Reader. It’s late morning here – almost noon, in fact – in my corner of west-central Florida on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. The current temperature is 74˚F (23˚C) under sunny skies. With the wind blowing from the northeast at 8 MPH (13 KM/H) and humidity at 56%, the feels-like temperature is 73˚F (23˚C). Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 78˚F (26˚C). Tonight, skies will be mostly clear and the low will be 57˚F (14˚C).
Today’s Musings & Thoughts post will have to be short because I am – uncharacteristically – pressed for time. After much cajoling and arguing, The Caregiver has finally set aside some of her time to take to get my COVID-19 vaccine. So I’ve already taken my shower, gotten dressed, did whatever bit of grooming I can do here, and even had lunch.
Now, all I must do is wait until The Caregiver finishes her half-day at her job – she works from her home office in the master bedroom – and she can take me to get my “Fauci Ouchie.”

Aside from that, not much to report. I’m upset because two hours ago I had my eyeglasses in my hand, put them somewhere in my room – which has mostly black furniture and shelves – and now I can’t find them. Ugh. I don’t need them to use my computer or to read, but if I want to watch TV I do. Ugh. I hate an all-black color scheme, especially because my glasses have black frames. Ugh.
So, if you’ll excuse me, Dear Reader, I have to go and use the time I have to look for my misplaced spectacles.
