Hello, Dear Reader. It’s early afternoon here in Lithia, Florida on Sunday, December 12, 2021. It’s a warm early winter day here in the subtropics. The current temperature is 84˚F (29˚C) under partly sunny skies. With the wind blowing from the south-southwest at 2 MPH (6 KM/H) and humidity at 63%, it feels like 85˚F (30˚C). Today’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies and a high of 84˚F (29˚C). Tonight, we can expect partly cloudy skies and a low of 65˚F (18˚C).

I did not sleep well last night, so I’m tired and not clear-headed at the moment. I’ve had a good breakfast and I had three cups of coffee, but I don’t feel particularly energetic or creative on this second Sunday of December 2021. And since I haven’t done anything worth writing about since Wednesday, I don’t have much in the way of news, either.
Well, I do have one update to make. Remember that West Side Story (2021) soundtrack album that Amazon said I’d be receiving around December 27? It turns out that this was a worst-case scenario type of estimate. Almost as soon as I published yesterday’s post on WordPress, I got an email from Amazon letting me know that my CD of the updated version of West Side Story (which has new lyrics by the late Stephen Sondheim for at least one of the songs) will be here by 10 PM on Tuesday, December 13.
Other than that, I have nothing noteworthy to report. My Christmas shopping is done, and I don’t plan on doing anything beyond spending a lazy Sunday reading or watching a movie.
And with that, Dear Reader, I’ll take my leave of you. Until next time, stay safe, stay healthy, and I’ll catch you on the sunny side of things.
