Hi, there, Dear Reader. It’s early afternoon on Saturday, December 25,2021. It’s a mild winter day in Lithia, Florida on Chl,ristmas Day 2021. Currently, the temperature is 77˚F (25˚C) under sunny skies. With humidity at 53% and the wind blowing from the west-southwest at 8 MPH (13 KM/H), the feels-like temperature is 77˚F (25˚C). Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 77˚F (25˚C). Tonight, we can expect clear skies and a low of 55˚F (13˚C).
I really don’t have much to report regarding our Christmas Eve festivities. We had an early Nochebuena dinner, after which we exchanged presents or opened a few that friends sent us from out-of-state. As is customary here, we didn’t spend time together to sing Christmas songs or sit in front of the big TV to watch holiday programs. As the saying goes, “we just don’ t roll that way here.”
I stayed up much too late and woke up much too early, so I’m a bit groggy despite having had four cups of coffee. As you can imagine, I’m in no shape to write a super-long blog post today.
Still, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas – if you observe the holiday – and share a few holiday-related tunes on this beautiful December day.
I’ll close for now, my friend. As always, stay safe, stay healthy, and I’ll catch you on the other side of things.
Carol of the Bells is really beautiful. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Alex.
