Late Morning, Wednesday, October 18, 2023, Lithia, Florida

Hi, there, folks. It’s a quiet and chilly October morning here in the Tampa Bay area. As I write this, the temperature outside is 63°F/17°C under sunny skies. That cold front that passed through earlier this week must have been a strong one; the skies will continue to be sunny, but the forecast high will only be 79°F/26°C. It’s going to be a good “go out for a walk” day, I think.
After my rest break, I plan to work on Reunion: Coda’s twelfth chapter. As I explained in my previous post, I am abandoning the “epistolary chapter” because presenting the entire chapter as an exchange of emails between two characters is too time-consuming and difficult for me. It was a good idea, but presently I don’t have the writing skills and patience to tell my story in a different way.

I’m a bit tired, so I’m going to lie down for a while and see if I can catch a few Zs. I went to bed at a reasonable hour, but I woke up earlier than I needed to and couldn’t go back to sleep. So, if I want to be productive later today, I must at least attempt to take a nap, or at least lie down on my futon and rest.
