Hi, everyone. It’s a chilly – for Florida – early winter day here in the Tampa Bay area. Currently, the temperature outside is 66°F/19°C under sunny skies. The feels-like temperature is 76°F/25°C, and the forecast for today calls for sunny skies and a high of 72°F/22°C.

Up in Madison, the weather conditions are different. The temperature there is 25°F/-4°C, with a feels-like factor of 41°F/5°C. The forecast for the area calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 30°F/-1°C.

A Quick Life Update, Then…More Music Videos

Yesterday I received my final “for fun” Amazon order – this year’s 50th Anniversary 4K UHD/2K HD/Digital Copy reissue of American Graffiti. I had a $35.00 credit on one of the cards I use for payment on Amazon, so I used some of that unexpected windfall to pay for the movie. I bought it mostly for the 4K disc and the digital copy; I already own the DVD and Universal’s original Blu-ray release, so I just redeemed the digital copy on Movies Anywhere, which means I can stream it via Amazon Prime Video or Vudu – which is linked to my Movies Anywhere account.

Last night I broke out the 2K (“regular”) Blu-ray of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and watched the behind-the-scenes extras. I didn’t watch the feature film because (a) I watched it last Friday night on Disney+ and (b) it’s the longest of the five Indy stories and it was already past 8. I enjoy the BTS stuff; watching a documentary about how Star Wars was made that was broadcast back in the fall of 1977 inspired me to want to write movies. I always watch the extras before I watch a DVD, Blu-ray, or 4K Blu-ray!

Today is the 82nd anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. I used to watch Tora! Tora! Tora! every year on this date, starting from when movies on home media were only available on VHS videocassettes. I have the movie on DVD and Blu-ray, but…those are in the “triaged” moving boxes, so I’ll have to commemorate Pearl Harbor Day some other way.

I don’t have much else to say, so I’ll close for now. Until next time, stay safe, stay healthy, and enjoy the music videos.
