Hi, everyone. Welcome to the Saturday edition of A Certain Point of View, Too.

I don’t have much news right now; I’m taking a break from working on Reunion: Coda because I wasn’t feeling great this week. Stress from my upcoming move plus a bad burrito really messed with my stomach. Writing something dramatic is tough when you must keep running to the bathroom. Those interruptions not only mess up your focus but are also super annoying, especially when they happen constantly.

The worst part is realizing I could have dodged that bad burrito if I had been able to hit the store last weekend instead of using Hannaford to Go. But nobody was around to give me a ride to Market Basket or Hannaford – or check my mail or take me to the ATM for some cash. So, I had to dip into my move-out funds and order groceries delivered (Hannaford to Go doesn’t take EBT for deliveries). I didn’t get much – just enough for a week – but one of the items was an Amy’s frozen burrito. It must have thawed a bit during delivery…and bam, I got hit with Montezuma’s Revenge.

This week was pretty rough and way less productive than I wanted. One day, I’ll definitely laugh about this part of September 2024. But right now, it was just a really crappy week.

      1. It’s certainly not much fun.

I’m feeling physically better. Psychologically? Not so much.

    1. Some good came of it, though. Yesterday’s writing exercise yielded something useful for the novel.

      So, there’s that.

    1. Yes, but I can’t sign up for their Walmart Plus delivery services now. Amazon takes EBT as well, but out here…well, you know how long they take to make deliveries here.
