It’s a mild late winter day in South Florida. As I write this, the temperature is a delightful 75°F (24°C) under mostly cloudy skies. It’s pleasantly warm now, though it’s bound to heat up; the forecast high is a balmy 84°F (29°C), with clouds playing hide and seek with the sun all afternoon.

Today is Presidents’ Day, the grand finale of a long holiday weekend. I find myself at a crossroads: Should I embrace the holiday spirit and indulge in some well-deserved relaxation, or march on with my usual workweek routine? Decisions, decisions!
