Hi, there, Dear Reader. It’s late morning here in New Hometown, Florida on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, though by the time I post this it will be early afternoon.[1] Currently, the temperature is 73˚F (23˚C) under cloudy conditions. With the wind blowing from the south-southwest at 9 MPH (13 KM/H) and humidity at 78%, the feels-like temperature is 73˚F (23˚C). Today, the high will be 81˚F (27˚C) under partly sunny skies; tonight we can expect scattered rain showers and a low of 53˚F (12˚C).
Do you remember Jennifer Leigh Ryan, aka Jenna Ryan, the Trump supporter from Frisco, Texas who flew to Washington on a rented private turboprop on January 5 to participate in the “Stop the Steal” protest-turned-riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6?
Well, it turns out that Ryan, a 50-year-old real estate broker, life coach, and self-described “conservative author” is in deeper trouble with the Federal government as a result of her activities at the Capitol building.
According to a CBS 11/21 Dallas-Ft. Worth report, 2 New Federal Charges For North Texas Realtor Jenna Ryan Following Capitol Riot, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia has added two more criminal charges on top of the ones she received after her arrest by the FBI on January 15.
Per CBS:
Frisco realtor Jenna Ryan, who was arrested following the riot at the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6, faces two new charges Tuesday, Jan. 26 bringing her total to four.
The four counts include:
Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building
Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building
Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building
Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building
Ryan turned herself in to the FBI on Jan. 15 and was released that evening after being charged with two federal crimes, knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Ryan, whose pro-Trump rhetoric and zeal for the former President’s false claims that the November elections were fraudulent are reflected on social media, is unrepentant and continues to call attention to herself on social media, particularly on Twitter and the conservative-friendly GAB.
For instance, today her Twitter description reads: A Patriot – Not a Terrorist, Traitor or Prisoner.
In addition, she seems to be playing the “I’m a persecuted Christian” card, as seen in this sarcastic tweet:
US Patriot – Not a Terrorist, Traitor or Prisoner @dotjenna
I could post a photo of tomato and tomorrow it would soon be all over the news that I’m a vegetable hater. #cancelculture

Ryan has been in the news constantly since her arrest and pretrial release, most recently because she was banned by PayPal and other online payment services when she violated their Terms of Services rules about fundraising via their sites. As a result, Ryan has resorted to starting a campaign on the Christian crowdfunding site GiveSendGo.
According to her GiveSendGo campaign page, Ryan has raised $300 out of the $10,000 that she is asking for to cover her legal defense.

The Twitterverse, though, is not too supportive of Ryan, who has inspired the use of such hashmarks as #JihadJenna and #JennaRyanIsATerrorist.
Here are some of the back-and-forth exchanges between Ryan and her detractors:
US Patriot – Not a Terrorist, Traitor or Prisoner @dotjenna
I could post a photo of tomato and tomorrow it would soon be all over the news that I’m a vegetable hater. #cancelculture
A Twitter member from the West Coast replies:
End stage narcissism is a hell of a thing to watch. She would rather destroy any chance of a possible defense than have no source for that sweet sweet narcissistic supply.
On that same thread, a guy named Joe says:
I like tomatoes. I don’t like traitors.
Further down on the thread, another Twitter member mock-quotes Ryan:
“im not tired of playing the victim card” -Jenna Ryan
And another guy puckishly adds:
Hey, that’s my line!
#jennaryanisadomesticterrorist
Ryan, meanwhile, keeps portraying herself as a “patriot” who did nothing wrong on January 6, even going as far as calling the CBS News report “slander.”
Per her GiveSendGo campaign page:
Jenna Ryan is raising money for her legal defense.
She was at the Capital on Jan. 2021 and did not commit violence.
Jenna is not a terrorist but a freedom loving patriot who needs your help.

[1] I am not now, nor have I ever been, a member of the Fast Typists Party.
Well, she’s going to be spending a hell of a lot of time in jail since she keeps doubling-down on the only possible defense she could have. Trump does not attract the “best people” though. We’ve known that for a long time.

And, apparently, the saga ends with Jenna pleading guilty to one of the four counts.
