It’s early afternoon here in Lithia, Florida, on Friday, June 30, 2023. It’s the last day of the work week and the last day of the month. For many people, it’s also the first day of the long Fourth of July weekend. And, since it’s summer in the subtropical zone, it’s hot (89°F/32°C), humid, and sunny. However, there are no rain showers or thunderstorms in the forecast, so at least I don’t have to worry about lightning strikes, having to shut down my PC due to said lightning strikes, or losing precious writing time.

I have not yet decided what to work on in Reunion: Coda. Part of me wants to write “all-new” material for Chapter 10 and move the story forward at least by one scene. I do want to finish the first draft sooner rather than later, but I also want to have as few mistakes as possible in the manuscript. So, there’s a tug of war going in my mind, and as I write this, I can’t seem to make up my mind.

Other than that, I don’t have much to report. I’ve got a manuscript to work on, and I’m burning daylight, so I’ll close for now.

Until next time, stay safe, stay healthy, and I’ll catch you on the sunny side of things.
