* At least in first draft modeโฆ.

Hi, everyone!
I just stopped by to announce that โ at least in โrough draftโ form โ Chapter 11 of Reunion: Coda is finally finished.
It took me two months just to figure out how I wanted to write that chapter, a fact that vexes me even now despite the fact that I have at least a first draft that hopefully will not need too much revising.

Of course, since I finished Scene Four a couple of hours ago, I have not yet decided what my working day will be like tomorrow. Ideally, I should at least try to begin work on Chapter 12 and not lose momentum lest I miss my December publication deadline, butโฆweโll see if I write โall-newโ stuff after my midday break or if I end up editing and revising stuff thatโs already in the document file for the manuscript.
Well, itโs almost 10:30 PM here in the Tampa Bay area, and I need to go watch something to relax and take my mind off from the novel โ among other things โ so Iโll close this here. Until next time, stay safe, stay healthy, and Iโll catch you on the sunny side of things.

Thanks. I worked on Chapter 11 until 8 PM or so, then was so wound up afterward that I wasn’t able to go to sleep till 2 AM. We’ll see what develops after the midday break.

Gotta feel good to get it done, hey, Alex? Now, you’ve got some momentum. Nice work!

I’m thrilled that at least the first draft is done. The downside is that I was so excited about finally closing out the chapter (at least till it’s time to edit and revise it) that I couldn’t sleep, so now I’m exhausted and not in shape to deal with the novel.
Oh, well. I’ll work on the manuscript tomorrow.
