Midday-Early Afternoon, Sunday, October 15, 2023, Lithia, Florida

Hey, everybody. I hope you’re all doing well on this second Sunday in October. It’s quiet and tranquil in my room as I write this, and if the temperature outside matches what my computer’s Weather app indicates, it’s beginning to feel a little bit like autumn – the temperature at noon is 77°F (25°C) under partly sunny skies, a sharp contrast to the higher temperatures we have felt in the Sunshine State since mid-June.
Today will be very much like yesterday, at least as far as writing is concerned; I took Saturday off from working on the novel, just as Stephen King recommends in On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft. I got some rest, but I’m still tired and feeling a bit on edge, so I will not work on Reunion: Coda today either.
I’m going to go out for a walk in a bit, so I’ll close this post here. Until next time, stay safe, stay healthy, and I’ll catch you on the sunny side of things.
