Hey, everybody. I hope you’re all doing well on this second Sunday in October. It’s quiet and tranquil in my room as I write this, and if the temperature outside matches what my computer’s Weather app indicates, it’s beginning to feel a little bit like autumn – the temperature at noon is 77°F (25°C) under partly sunny skies, a sharp contrast to the higher temperatures we have felt in the Sunshine State since mid-June.

Today will be very much like yesterday, at least as far as writing is concerned; I took Saturday off from working on the novel, just as Stephen King recommends in On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft. I got some rest, but I’m still tired and feeling a bit on edge, so I will not work on Reunion: Coda today either.

I’m going to go out for a walk in a bit, so I’ll close this post here. Until next time, stay safe, stay healthy, and I’ll catch you on the sunny side of things.

“I enjoyed the book very much. The author has written a coming of age story about older teens and the regrets some may have because of missed opportunities. Even thought it is a short story, the characters come alive on the page and you find yourself caring about them and identifying with their feelings.” – CSB, Amazon customer review
