Midday, Friday, October 20, 2023, Lithia, Florida

Hi, there! Welcome to another Friday edition of A Certain Point of View, Too.
It’s a warm autumn day here in the Tampa Bay area. As I write this, the temperature is 80°F/26°C under sunny conditions. We’re still experiencing chilly morning temperatures after the passage of a strong cold front earlier this week. This being Florida, and this being the subtropical zone, we will see a return to warmer, more humid days, but unless we experience an unseasonable heat wave, it won’t be as hot as it was this summer. Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 85°F/30°C.
Last night I attempted to watch one of the movies on my To Be Watched (TBW) list – 2008’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which I saw at the Dolphin Mall’s Cobb 19 multiplex 15 years ago. Directed by Dave Filoni and written by Henry Gilroy, Steven Melching, and Scott Murphy, Star Wars: The Clone Wars was Lucasfilm’s first feature-length animated movie, as well as the pilot for the eponymous TV series that aired on Cartoon Network from 2008 to 2013.
Alas, as is my habit nowadays, I decided to start watching The Clone Wars after 10 PM, and even though I was having a relatively good time, I got sleepy and had to turn my TV off before I fell into a somewhat deep slumber. The disc is still inside the Blu-ray player, so I’ll probably watch the movie again at some point after I work on the manuscript for Reunion: Coda.

I don’t have anything more to share, and it is time for my usual two-hour rest period, so I’ll sign off here. Until next time, stay safe, stay healthy, and I’ll catch you on the sunny side of things.
