Midday/Early Afternoon, Saturday, December 9, 2023, Lithia

I woke up at 4 in the morning – much too early, if you ask me – and couldn’t go back to sleep, so my last Saturday in this house – and in Florida – finds me tired and irritable. (Add to that a soupcon of melancholy mixed with quiet resignation, and you’ll have some idea of how I feel now.)
Yesterday I made one final tweak to Reunion: A Story. Nothing major, but there was a particular bit in the story that seemed “off” to me, so I changed it. Kindle readers should see the edit in their e-book edition by Tuesday; print readers will probably have to either live with the goof or order a new copy. If they want to do that, I recommend they wait till Friday of next week to make sure they get the revised edition.

I didn’t do anything particularly noteworthy last night. I thought about watching a movie – most of my DVDs and Blu-rays are in the moving boxes, but I have 70+ digital copies on Movies Anywhere and a bunch of Paramount/Lionsgate titles on Vudu, so I can stream those. I also have American Graffiti, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and two Ken Burns documentaries on Blu-rays I either just received from Amazon or kept outside of the boxes to stave off boredom. But, even though I thought about it, I ended up not watching anything.
I don’t feel like writing much today, folks, cos my mood is all over the place. Instead, here are more music videos for your listening pleasure:
