Late Morning, Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Madison, New Hampshire
Hi, all, and welcome to the midweek edition of A Certain Point of View, Too. It is a chilly early spring day. Currently, the temperature is 42°F (6°C) under cloudy conditions. With humidity at 72% and the wind blowing from the east at 2 MPH (3 Km/H), the feels-like temperature is 50°F (10°C). Today’s forecast calls for light rain showers in the afternoon and a high of 51°F (10°C). Tonight, we can expect heavy rain and a low of 39°F (4°C).

The only bit of news I have to share is that yesterday, after several hours of struggling to find some way – any way – to start Reunion: Coda’s 14th chapter, I succeeded. Granted, as it stands now it’s only a meh-worthy start to the chapter (it’s a 164-word email from Maddie to Jim, and no…Chapter 14 is not another epistolary chapter). But…I’ll take my victories, small as they might be, when I can get them.
Other than that, life goes on in its quiet, sometimes monotonous fashion. I worked on the novel for most of the afternoon, had dinner around 6:30 PM or so, then continued watching Cold War because the series’ third DVD is in the Blu-ray player tray and I didn’t feel like going through the available Blu-rays or DVDs to choose something else.
On Writing & Storytelling: Action This Day

Today, of course, is a working day for me, so after my midday break I’ll be here at my desk, hopefully building on the foundation for Reunion: Coda’s 14th chapter that I laid yesterday afternoon. I’ll try to go outside early during my lunch and rest period to get some fresh air before the rain begins. I’m cautiously optimistic that I’ll have a productive writing day. I’ll do my best to make it so.
Well…that’s it, folks! Until next time, stay safe, stay healthy, and I’ll catch you on the….less rainy side of things.
