It’s a nicer Saturday today than it was just a week ago. It’s still cold here, but at least it’s sunny. (Photo by the author, March 30, 2024)

Late Morning, Saturday, March 30, 2024, Madison, New Hampshire

Hi, everyone. It’s a beautiful, if perhaps a bit frosty, early spring day here in Madison. Currently, the temperature is 37°F (3°C) under sunny conditions. With the wind blowing from the west at 8 MPH (12 Km/H), the feels-like temperature is 45°F (7°C). Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 47°F (8°C). Tonight, we can expect partly cloudy skies and a low of 29°F (-1°C).

As you probably guessed, I didn’t work on Reunion: Coda yesterday. I wanted to, but I needed to go to Hannaford (think of it as the Publix of northern New England, Florida readers) to get groceries and a new frying pan so I don’t have to use Stuart’s. I also had a lot on my mind (as I wrote in yesterday’s blog post), so even though I had enough time during the afternoon to either write new material or edit existing one, I could not concentrate on the novel.

Today, of course, is Saturday, one of my two off days from work, so unless I get an idea for Chapter 14 that’s so good that it can’t wait until Monday, I don’t plan on even looking at the manuscript.

I don’t know what, exactly, I’ll be doing besides doing a bit of housekeeping in my two rooms. I might do the “usual” mix of reading, gaming, listening to music, or watching a Blu-ray or DVD in my bedroom. Anyway, that’s all I have to share with you today, so ciao for now.
