Midday/Early Afternoon, Saturday, April 27, 2024, Madison, New Hampshire

Hi, everyone.
It’s a cool spring day here in Carroll County, New Hampshire. The current temperature is 61°F (16°C) under sunny skies. With the wind blowing from the south-southeast at 6 MPH (9 Km/H) and humidity at 29%, the heat index is 70°F (21°C). Today’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 66°F (19°C). Tonight, we can expect scattered light rain showers. The low will be 40°F (5°C).
I don’t have much in the way of news. I’m still tired from not sleeping well on the night of April 25/26, 2024, and I’m disappointed that I couldn’t progress with the novel yesterday afternoon. I wanted to work on Reunion: Coda so badly that I could taste it. But I was weary and worried, and that combination of physical and mental states wasn’t good for my creativity.

For a while, I entertained the notion of working today to make up for yesterday’s inability to write anything beyond a blog post and a couple of emails. But even after a good – for me, anyway – breakfast and a slightly better night’s rest. But judging by how groggy and sore I feel, I don’t think I’ll be able to write any new copy for Reunion: Coda. At best, I’ll be able to edit existing stuff, and if I can, I will.
Before I close this post, I want to remind you that from now until May 1, you can get the Kindle edition of my novella, Reunion: A Story, for free. This is a short but gripping tale of a history professor and author who must come to terms with decisions he made as a high school student that come to haunt him when he gets word that his high school crush has died in an accident. Reunion is a story about young love and how our fears can get in the way, and it also deals with the bonds of friendship and the different ways we look at life as teens and adults. If you enjoy romance, drama, and nostalgia, you won’t want to miss this offer. Just click on the free Kindle preview gadget below and download your copy today. And if you like it, please leave a review on Amazon. It would mean a lot to me. Thank you for your support and happy reading!
