Midday/Early Afternoon, Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Madison, New Hampshire

Hey, folks. I’m lagging behind my workday plan – by this time, I should have already crafted, polished, and uploaded this on WordPress. But…even though I got up at a decent time (8:00 AM EDT), it’s already afternoon here in my part of Carroll County, NH, and I’m just beginning to work on my 1,581st post for A Certain Point of View, Too.
So, I’ll make this one quick and easy.
Since this blog has become more focused on the creation of my first novel than on any other facet of my alleged life, let’s kick off with the latest news about Reunion: Coda.

Even though I didn’t advance much with Scene Three of The Gathering Storm (AKA Chapter 18), I did some work on the novel, so yay.
Of course, I intended to pen – or at the very least sketch – the so-called Scene Three in yesterday’s afternoon writing slot. But intentions are often wayward. So I found myself polishing and tweaking the opening scenes of The Gathering Storm instead.
Well, I did something for the novel. Just not exactly what I had in mind.
When I return to my desk after my two-hour midday break, I hope Calliope will appear to provide some much-needed inspiration.
