Evening, Sunday, July 28, 2024, Madison, New Hampshire

Chilling as the evening of a late July Sunday comes to an end, I’m relaxing with some tunes from Mozart. The writing room’s cozy, and there’s still enough light coming in from the sunset so I haven’t bothered to turn the main light on. Feeling a bit drained—my eyes need a break from screens and I’m somehow hungry even though I had a late lunch.

I tried to get some work done on my book, Reunion: Coda, but post-break, it was a no-go for sketching out the next part. After about thirty minutes, I swapped writing for a skirmish in my go-to wargame, Regiments. I’m crossing my fingers for a more productive day tomorrow.
