Hi there. It’s another gray, cloudy, and potentially rainy day in New England. The sun rose at 5:32 AM EDT, but it’s so dark that I’m considering turning on the ceiling lamp. I’d rather not, but I also need to see what I’m doing while typing on my keyboard.

I didn’t make any progress with Reunion: Coda yesterday. My schedule was scuppered by that 9:20 AM wakeup, and nothing I did set it right. I was tired, for one, and also incredibly nervous thinking that I’m moving back to Miami soon and wondering when the repacking process will begin.

(The only positive thing about the oft-frustrating slowness of “moving me in” is that since I never was fully unpacked, it shouldn’t be that hard to pack the things I need to take to Miami, huh?)

I slept a little better last night, so hopefully I’ll be able to hold all my worries about my future at bay so I can work on the novel this afternoon.

Well, it’s finally the end of the month I like the least. So, there’s something.

Au revoir, juillet!
