Hello, dear reader. It’s a bright but slightly chilly morning here in my corner of New England. The temperature is 69°F (20°C) under sunny skies. Happily, today is expected to be a beautiful day with sunny skies and a high of 79°F (26°C). There’s no rain in the forecast, either. Overall, the weather is almost perfect.
I don’t feel like writing a standard-issue blog post today. I’d rather focus on writing fiction. So, without further ado, here’s another writing exercise from How to Write a Romance: Or, How to Write Witty Dialogue, Smoldering Love Scenes, & Happily Ever Afters.

List five things your characters love about each other, besides physical attributes

Sentimentality: Maddie values Jim’s gentle nostalgia that often connects the past with their present lives.
