I woke up later than usual – at 9:30 AM EST – and I am already behind schedule, so, I will just post a few Reunion Duology-related music videos (music that I listen to when I’m working on the novel, mostly).
Some songs and compositions should be familiar to most regular readers, but I’ve tried to find different versions for variety’s sake. And although some of these selections appear in the novel (Red River Valley, Forgotten Dreams, and All the Things You Are are mentioned or are, depending on their copyright status, quoted in various chapters.) many of these melodies play in the background as I write; quite a few of them inspired settings (such as the “Moonglow Club” and its particular “theme”) or character traits (music from war movies partly inspired my choice to make Jim Garraty a historian who specializes in World War II).
