The view from my Kindle Create app. This is how the opening chapter will look when Reunion: Coda is published either in late December or (more likely) 1Q 2025.

Hello, Constant Readers.

Cover Design: Juan Carlos Hernandez

Yesterday was a slow day on the writing front. I had hoped to start writing Scene 3 for Chapter 21, but the Well of Ideas was a bit dry, and I ended up editing some of the older sections of the novel instead. I would have preferred to write the new scene—I enjoy bringing my characters to life and watching them interact with each other, plus I want to move the story forward and closer to a conclusion—but it wasn’t meant to be.

However, edits and revisions are also essential parts of the writing process. Catching inconsistencies and polishing prose now will help me avoid much sorrow later on. As any seasoned writer knows, a well-edited manuscript is the bedrock of a compelling narrative. Embrace the revisions; they are the keystones of literary craftsmanship.

At least I got some work in on Reunion: Coda; I hate when I don’t even fix errors or try to reword passages that look good after one editing pass but still could be improved. So even though my Tuesday was a slow day, it wasn’t a bad day writing wise.
