Sharing My Favorite Piano Pieces
Inspiration from Maddie in “Reunion: Coda”
Hello everyone,
As I’m still feeling a bit under the weather today, I thought I would take a moment to share something a little different. Instead of my usual updates, I’m excited to share some of my favorite YouTube videos featuring beautiful piano pieces that I truly enjoy.
This idea sprang partly from my work on my novel “Reunion: Coda,” where one of my characters, Maddie, is an accomplished concert pianist. Her love for music is based on my own appreciation for piano compositions.
Here are a few pieces that I hope you will enjoy as much as I do:
- Anderson – Forgotten Dreams: An American composition that captures the beauty of romantic piano music.
- Beethoven – Moonlight Sonata (First Movement): This piece is both haunting and serene, showcasing Beethoven’s genius.
- Debussy – Clair de Lune: An impressionist masterpiece that evokes the tranquil light of the moon.
- Rachmaninoff – Prelude in C-sharp minor, Op. 3 No. 2: A powerful and dramatic piece that highlights the depth of Rachmaninoff’s work.
I hope these videos bring you as much joy and inspiration as they have brought me. Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to sharing more updates with you soon.
