Hi, everyone.

This week has been quite a rollercoaster, especially on the novel-writing front, thanks to a pesky cold that decided to visit me.

As you might recall, I wrapped up Chapter 21 of Reunion: Coda on December 8. My amazing Beta reader, Denise Longrie, thoroughly evaluated it and suggested a few tweaks. Thanks to her keen insights, I made some adjustments, and now that part of the novel feels much stronger. It’s not perfect, but the narrative flows well and is ready for the next phase.

I had high hopes of diving into Chapter 22 this week, but alas, the cold had other plans. Armed with DayQuil and NyQuil caplets, plenty of fluids, and lots of rest, I’ve managed to fend off most of the nastier symptoms โ€“ no constant coughing, sneezing, or nose-blowing, thank goodness. However, that mild but persistent headache is a real concentration killer.

So, while I haven’t made as much progress on the writing front as I’d hoped, I’m optimistic that, once this cold clears, I’ll be back to creating with full steam ahead.

Thanks for understanding, and here’s to brighter, healthier days and inspired writing ahead!
