Dear Viewer, Let Me Tell You a Story: ‘Clown 345’ Picked for Film Festival

‘Clown 345’ Picked to Screen in Upcoming Film Festival

Yesterday, Juan Carlos Hernandez, an actor and director based in New York City, informed me that the Lift-Off Global Network selected Clown 345, a comedy short we co-wrote a few years ago, for one of its many indie film festivals. I’m not sure if it’s for an in-theater screening in NYC or online, but it’s officially a selectee, so….

About the Lift-Off Network

Founded in 2011, the Lift-Off Network champions true indie filmmaking. The Lift-Off Network promotes up-and-coming voices and provides a space for collaboration and support towards the next step.

The Network believes that indie film matters, storytelling can change the world & emerging artists need support to develop creatively, foster new connections and reach global audiences. – from the official website

I’m proud of contributing to the middle segment of the 8-minute, 45-second short with my friends Juan, Adria, and AJ Hernandez. I’m also thrilled that Clown 345 was selected for a Lift-Off Global Network festival. You can watch it here!

    1. Juan wanted me to get a second screenwriting credit between A Simple Ad and Ronnie and the Pursuit of the Elusive Bliss. So, he asked me to write a “bridge” between two scenes he had already written. That was nice of him to do.

As always, thanks for the kind comment, Thomas. And, happy birthday!
