Mid-Morning, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Miami, Florida

Hi, everyone.

It’s a warm spring morning in my corner of South Florida as I prepare for another working day as a writer. The temperature is 76°F (24°C) under partly sunny conditions. It should be a pleasant, albeit slightly humid, day in our subtropical haven; today’s high is expected to reach 81°F (27°C), and the skies will be partly sunny for the rest of the day.

I actually have a few updates to share! Firstly, my 11th-grade English teacher, Diana Simonhoff, ordered a hardcover of my novel, Reunion: Coda, last weekend. She was intrigued by the synopsis on the book’s Amazon product page, and she has always believed in my ability to weave a compelling story. Her support means the world to me.

I’ve got some great news from my colleagues in New York City—they’re currently working on the promo video for Reunion: Coda. They’ve already finished recording my song Boy of Harvard, and now they’re diving into the creative fun of making and editing the visuals. This project feels quite familiar because Juan, Adria, and I did something similar for Book 1 of the Reunion Duology back in 2023.

I came up with the idea for the video and chose Boy of Harvard as the background music to avoid any copyright hassles. However, since I’m not a cinematographer, director, or film editor, I didn’t write a detailed shot-by-shot script. (Juan even mentioned that he’s treating my concept like a screenplay, even though I didn’t follow the typical screenplay format.) While I have a general vision of what the final video will look and sound like, I’m just as excited as everyone else to see the magic my talented colleagues will create!

I’m also thrilled to share that I’ve been working on a special Reunion-related project, which I hope to complete and release later this year. I started this exciting venture on Sunday afternoon and plan to dedicate at least one regular working day each week to ensure it’s ready for the 2025 winter holidays.

Although I don’t have any new story ideas outside of the Reunion universe percolating in my head at the moment, I’m confident that inspiration will strike eventually, leading to another compelling tale to share with you all.

To everyone who has already purchased a copy of Reunion: Coda, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Your support is immensely appreciated, and it motivates me to keep crafting stories that resonate with readers.

For those who haven’t yet grabbed a copy, I invite you to explore the world of Reunion: Coda. As described on its Amazon product page, “An intricate tapestry of love, loss, and redemption, Reunion: Coda promises to captivate your imagination and touch your heart.” I hope you’ll consider joining the journey and experiencing this tale for yourself.

Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. Happy reading!
