On Writing and Storytelling: Copy Editor’s Update to ‘Comings and Goings’

📘 Comings and Goings Update: A Little Cleanup, a Lot of Heart

This morning, bright and early, I gave in to my inner copy editor. That missing hard return on one page of Comings and Goings had been irritating me to no end, so I opened up the Kindle Create app with one goal: fix that glitch.

But once I was in, I figured—why stop there?

Since Reunion: A Story and Reunion: Coda already include review excerpts in their back matter, it only made sense for Comings and Goings to follow suit. Now, with a few tweaks and additions, all three Garratyverse titles include curated reader reflections to close out the journey.

🛠 What’s New?

• A corrected layout issue (yes, that elusive hard return is now in its rightful place)
• New back matter featuring one review each for Reunion: A Story, Reunion: Coda, and Comings and Goings

📱 Kindle Readers:

If you already own Comings and Goings on Kindle, you can redownload it to get the updated version—easy fix, clean finish. The update should go live by sometime tomorrow, if not sooner.

📚 Print Readers:

For those ordering physical copies between now and Tuesday: you’ll be getting the original first edition, quirks and all. Once the revised version is live, future orders will reflect the new layout and added review content.
