A wonderful milestone just arrived with the summer heat: Comings and Goings – The Art of Being Seen has officially landed in Spain! The copy was purchased through Amazon.es and now resides in the hands of my long-time friend, Lisa Dolan, Student Activities Director at the International College of Seville.

Lisa reached out to let me know the book had arrived, and true to her adventurous spirit, she’s eager to dive in. She sent a photo of herself holding the book—even with the reversed image, it was a beautiful moment.  There’s something quietly poetic about this—Lisa and I first crossed paths in Seville back in the late ’80s, and some of the atmosphere from those years even echoes through the pages of the book. To see the story return to where some of it first took shape feels like a quiet homecoming.

This marks the second confirmed European sale (the first being in the UK this past June), and I’m genuinely moved to see Comings and Goings finding readers beyond borders. If you’re in Spain—or anywhere Amazon ships—consider taking the journey into themes of visibility, memory, and the courage to be seen. Lisa’s already begun hers.

Thank you, Spain. Onward. 🌍
