🎧 Reunion: Coda Heads to Audio

This week, I took the first step toward bringing Reunion: Coda to life in audiobook form.

After thoughtful consideration—and encouragement from readers who no longer buy print books—I’ve decided to adapt Coda for audio. Some of this interest came from fans of Reunion: A Story, who asked for more stories and wanted new ways to experience the Garratyverse. I’m listening.

It’s not polished, but it’s the best I could do on my own at 6:45 AM.

Earlier this week, I received confirmation from ACX:
“Congratulations! Steven Lee has accepted your offer to produce Reunion: Coda: Book 2 of the Reunion Duology.

I’ve sent Steven the manuscript, and while production hasn’t begun, the wheels are in motion. We haven’t yet discussed tone, motif maps, or performance details, but I’ve given him a projected release date of February 2026 to allow time for thoughtful narration and post-production. We’ll be sharing royalties 50-50.

ACX outlines the next steps clearly:

  • Visit the “In Production” section to manage the project
  • Share Director’s Notes and guidance on story, character, and pronunciation

I’ve already submitted the cover art along with the manuscript, so now it’s in my producer’s corner for the next stage of production.

I’ll be following those steps in the coming days. For now, I’m grateful to everyone who’s asked for more stories, and I’m excited to begin this new chapter.

More updates soon.
