Narration Nears Completion: Reunion: A Story Finds Its Voice
Brandon Padilla is nearly finished recording Reunion: A Story, and I couldn’t be more grateful—or more excited. He just sent word that only one chapter remains, and the rough cut will be heading my way soon for review.
Brandon’s approach to Marty’s accent—light, but intentional—feels just right. Marty is an English girl living in the U.S., and her voice carries both heritage and adaptation. It’s a subtle choice, and one that honors the emotional realism of the story.

Even more meaningful is Brandon’s attention to pacing. He’s added space where the story needed breath, allowing moments to land with clarity and care. That kind of emotional stewardship is rare, and it’s exactly what Reunion: A Story deserves.
Once the rough cut arrives, I’ll be listening closely and sending in my notes. This is where the story begins to speak aloud—not just in words, but in tone, cadence, and emotional presence.
Stay tuned for reflections on the performance and the lived texture of the characters. We’re almost there.
