Hi, friends and frequent readers,
I wanted to share a quick update on the audiobook editions of Reunion: A Story, Reunion: Coda, and Comings and Goings – The Art of Being Seen. All three are progressing well, and I’m grateful for the care and enthusiasm each producer has brought to the table.

🎧 Comings and Goings, produced and narrated by Bryan Haddock, is slated for release on October 30. Barring any last-minute hiccups, it will be the first to arrive on Audible.

🎧 Reunion: A Story, produced and narrated by Brandon Padilla, is expected in December. Of the three producers, Brandon seems especially energized—partly because he genuinely connects with the story, but also because it’s the first audiobook he’s narrated that already carries reader feedback on Amazon. That sense of shared reception adds a layer of emotional resonance to the process.

🎧 As for Reunion: Coda, I recently sent a narrative brief to Stefan (Steve) Lee, who’s preparing to step into Jim Garraty’s voice for this installment. Here’s a glimpse of what I shared:
Hi Stefan,
I don’t have many performance-specific notes for Reunion: Coda. I imagine Jim Garraty as someone who, when recounting his high school experiences—especially with Mark, Mrs. Quincy, and most poignantly, Marty—strives to be honest, balancing wistfulness with a touch of self-deprecating humor.
In my mind’s ear, he sounds a bit like Robert Mulligan (who voiced the intro and outro of Summer of ’42) or Daniel Stern narrating Kevin’s adult reflections in The Wonder Years. That’s just my personal lens, though—not a directive, just a tonal reference.
Late last night, Stefan replied:
Got it. I’ll take a look at the links/suggestions you provided. Thanks. – Stefan
So yes—this incarnation of the Jim Garraty stories is unfolding with care, collaboration, and emotional clarity. I’ll keep you posted as each chapter finds its voice.
