I’m pleased to share that the audiobook edition of Comings and Goings – The Art of Being Seen has officially passed the Audio Files review on Amazon’s Audiobook Creators Exchange (ACX). This marks the third of four pre-release phases that every audiobook must complete before it’s released on Audible and Apple Books (formerly iTunes).

For those curious, the four stages are: Metadata, Cover Art, Audio Files, and Final Verification.

If all goes well—and I’m hopeful—it means Comings and Goings could be available for purchase as early as next week. ACX only conducts quality assurance during the business week, so I don’t expect a weekend release. But since it’s still late morning as I write this, there’s a chance Audible and Apple Books might, just might, have it ready by Monday. It all depends on how long Final Verification takes.

As you can imagine, I’m quietly thrilled. Bryan Haddock, my producer and narrator, has poured care and craft into this recording over the past few weeks. And soon, you’ll be able to hear what author and Amazon reviewer Denise Longrie called a “lovely tale of empathy.”

We’re almost there.
