Hi, everyone—thanks so much for joining me.
Another workweek has wrapped up, and while progress on The Jim Garraty Chronicles has been slower than I’d hoped, I’m grateful to have resolved many of the formatting headaches caused by the Kindle Create app. The omnibus is still moving forward, even if only by small steps, and I’m determined to see it through. That promise isn’t just to everyone following along—it’s to myself. Perseverance pays off, and if I keep at it, I’m optimistic it’ll be ready by autumn 2026.

There’s good news on another front: Reunion: Coda’s Audible edition has officially cleared the first of four review stages on ACX. Fingers crossed that the remaining checks—especially metadata and audio files—go smoothly. Once everything is approved, I’ll finally be able to announce a release date with confidence. After nearly four months of dedicated work from my producer and narrator, Stefan Lee, I truly hope listeners will enjoy Reunion: Coda. It’s not my debut book, and it’s not the first Jim Garraty story on Audible, but it is my first novel. That makes this milestone especially meaningful, and I’ve poured my heart into every page.

Today also marks the 61st anniversary of my father’s passing in a plane crash at Miami International Airport. While I’m excited about my literary projects, I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness knowing he never got to see me grow into the writer I’ve become—not famous or wealthy, perhaps, but someone whose stories have touched readers willing to give them a chance. So it’s a day of mixed emotions: joy for what I’ve accomplished, gratitude for the support I’ve received, and a gentle reminder of the past.
Thank you all for being here, for reading, and for letting me share this journey with you. And if you’ve enjoyed my work or are curious to explore more of Jim Garraty’s world, picking up one of my books—or leaving a review—goes a long way toward helping an independent author keep the lights on.
