Hi there!

Reunion: Coda
Audible edition cover created by Alex Diaz-Granados

Not much news today. Amazon’s ACX doesn’t conduct quality‑assurance reviews on weekends, so the Audible edition of Reunion: Coda is in a bit of a holding pattern. So far, the only milestone logged is that the cover — the one I designed on Canva Pro last fall — passed ACX’s strict requirements. Now I’m waiting on the remaining three steps: the metadata review, the audio file review, and the final verification. Once those clear, I’ll finally be able to announce the audiobook’s launch on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes. ACX estimates about ten business days for the full QA process, so with any luck, the audiobook should be available by next weekend.

Even though I’ve been through this before with the Audible editions of Reunion: A Story and Comings and Goings – The Art of Being Seen, this one feels different. There’s something both nerve‑wracking and exhilarating about knowing that my first novel — all 144,254 words of it — is about to exist in yet another format alongside the Kindle, paperback, and hardcover editions. My producer and narrator, Stefan Lee, put real care into this project. He worked hard to make sure the audio tracks were clean and consistent, and he took the time to capture the nuances of Jim, Mark, Marty, Maddie, and everyone else who lives inside Reunion: Coda. I’m genuinely excited to hear how listeners respond once the audiobook is out in the world.

As I wait for ACX to finish its part, I’m reminded that every stage of this process — even the quiet, stalled ones — is still movement. It’s still progress. And it’s still part of the strange, wonderful experience of watching a story I worked on for two years find new ways to be heard.
