Hi, everyone.

It is another scorching late summer day in Central Florida. Like in many other countries in the Northern Hemisphere, we are experiencing a brutal heat wave in one of the hottest years on record. Iโ€™m not going to bore you by jotting down the current temperature โ€“ all you need to know is that Orange County is under a National Weather Service heat advisory that expires at 8 PM, and that stepping outside for more than a few minutes is not a good idea.

I donโ€™t have much in the way of personal news, and aside from the oppressive heat that is affecting so many parts of the globe, I donโ€™t have anything to add. Iโ€™m still in the final days of my sabbatical from Professional Daydreamingโ„ข, and my Kindle Direct Publishing reports page is not showing any spikes in sales of my books, so thereโ€™s nothing newsworthy on that front.

Iโ€™m still alive, though! That counts, right?
