Musings & Thoughts for Monday, October 17, 2022, or: Remembering Mom on Her 94th Birthday
Today – Monday, October 17, 2022 – would have been my mother’s 94th birthday. For me, this date has been bittersweet for quite some time. Sure, it is a sadder occasion now because Mom died on July 19 – a Sunday – of 2015, less than three months before her 87th birthday. But even during…

“In case of doubt, attack.” – Gen. George S. Patton, Jr. USA I’m getting better at playing Regiments. I’m not yet as good a commander of armored forces as George Patton, one of America’s best-known generals from the World War II era and the namesake of the U.S, Army’s Patton series of main battle tanks.…

Musings & Thoughts for Tuesday, September 6, 2022, or: After 11 Years, My Blogger Blog FINALLY Starts Paying Out
Well, it finally happened. Last night, while I was doing my weekly look at the AdSense account of the Blogger precursor to this blog, I noticed that after 11 years and 1,404 blog posts, I finally reached the $100 payment threshold necessary for Google to pay me the ad revenue generated by my content on…
