Ancient photographs

Sepia, faded color, and duochrome;

Oh, how time doth fly.

Papi took this photo of my mother and me on the beach at Marco Island sometime in 1964. I found it tucked away in my mother’s possessions after her death in July 2015.

    1. Which of the two childhood photos with Mom? The one in the center, second row? Or the Marco Island one?

      1. The Marco Island one. I also like the backstory of finding the photo among her cherished possessions! ❤

      2. That photo certainly is nice. Until it was found, I’d never seen it before.

        You can tell, too, that the beach is on the Gulf Coast because the sand is whitish. East Florida beaches tend to have more yellow-ish sand.
