Writer’s Labor & Result (A Haiku)

Fingers type quickly As thoughts turn into phrases; Lo! A book is born!

Coldly lit hallways Of dark reflective metal Lead to Jedi’s doom.

O, clear sky of blue And rainbow-colored flowers! Hark! Spring draweth near.

Warm humid breezes Puff gently through the trees. Ah. Spring approaches!

Sunny, windy day Avenue teeming with traffic The cart’s wheels rattle.

Oh, land divided Between the “crazy” and “sane”! Do not choose “crazy.”

Sparkling water runs Swiftly on the round, smooth rocks. My dreams swim there, too.

In a darkened room Images and sounds combine. Oh, the joys of film!

Cottonball-like clouds Float lazily in the sky; Birds swirl and whirl past!

Joystick, keyboard, mouse Monitor screen glowing brightly. Just one more game-turn!
