This Moment in Central Park

(Based on an upcoming novel by the author)

We walk in Central Park, hand in hand
Feeling the sun on our faces, the snow under our feet
It’s a beautiful day for late February
The sky is bright blue, the air is crisp and sweet

We see the world around us, in all its colors and shapes
We see the joy and the sorrow, the love and the pain
We hear the sounds of life, in all its rhythms and tunes
We hear the songs of our hearts, in harmony and refrain

We don’t talk much, but that’s okay
We enjoy the silence, we enjoy each other’s company
We look into each other’s eyes, and we smile
We feel a spark, we feel a fire, we feel a symphony

We like each other, but we don’t know each other
Not really, not yet, not all
We have secrets, we have stories, we have dreams
But we don’t care about that right now, not at all

Right now, we just care about this moment
This moment in Central Park
This moment of wonder, this moment of magic
This moment of us, this moment of art

I wish there weren’t a wedding ring on that woman’s finger…but I love this image for any post related to The New Story.
