Hi, everyone. It’s another warm and sunny early spring day in my corner of Miami-Dade County. As I gear up for the new workweek, the temperature stands at a pleasant 77°F (25°C) under partly sunny skies. With the humidity at 54%, it feels more like 82°F (28°C). The forecast promises a high of 78°F (26°C), but with the subtropical vibes, it will feel like the high 80s. It’s as if summer is already sneaking in, but I’m not complaining.

After a quiet and uneventful weekend, I’m easing back into the Monday groove, ready to dive into my role as a novelist. Last Friday, I managed to craft Scene One for Chapter 26 of Reunion: Coda, and today, I’m hopeful to keep that creative momentum going in my afternoon work session.

For those curious about my progress, here’s a snapshot of where I stand nearly two years into this literary journey, which began around March 9, 2023. Reunion: Coda now has:

  • Number of Chapters: 25 complete, one in progress
  • Number of Pages: 527, including the title and disclaimer pages
  • Number of Words: 128,769
