Hi, there.
I am, once again, off to a later start with my blogging than I’d like. As I write this, it’s early afternoon on a hot late summer day in Central Florida. Currently, the temperature is 94°F (34°C) under mostly sunny conditions. With humidity at 58% and a northwesterly breeze blowing at 7 MPH (11 Km/H), the heat index is 104°F (40°C) – too hot to do anything outside the house for more than a few minutes.

Aside from routine chores that aren’t worth writing about and keeping an eye on my Kindle Direct Publishing account, I’m not doing anything during what I hope are my last “vacation” days from Professional Daydreaming™. It’s too hot for me to spend time outside the house; I don’t tolerate Florida’s torrid summers like I used to when I was younger, and there aren’t any interesting places to go to in my general vicinity, So, I stick to the hermit’s routine I adopted when I lived in the Tampa area during the COVID-19 pandemic. This isn’t how I thought my sixties would become when I was 25 and in college, but….
On the bright side, though, there are no tropical storms or hurricanes heading toward Florida in this third month of the Atlantic hurricane season. That’s good, isn’t it?
