Sunday, August 30, 2026 – Orlando, Florida

Hi, there.

It’s another late summer scorcher in my corner of Central Florida. As I write this, it’s almost midday, and even though the temperature is “only” 86°F (30°C), high humidity and a barely perceptible easterly breeze are combining to make it feel like 99°F (37°C). We may see some light showers passing through in the afternoon hours, but until then, we can expect a hot and sticky last Sunday of August 2026, as the high is expected to reach 87°F (31°C).

It’s Sunday, so I think I’ll try to relax a bit and read a book or watch a movie. Maybe that will help me cope with writing-related anxiety so I can start working on a new story. Man, writer’s block stinks.
