Diane Lane in 1979’s A Little Romance. I remember watching the movie on TV when one of the local stations (WCIX, more than likely) aired it as part of the “Saturday 1 PM (or 3 PM) Movie” lineup. I had a strong emotional response (I got weepy-eyed for no apparent reason) when I saw the then-14-year-old Diane Lane onscreen for the first time.
